In the last 110 years, the global carbon emission has increased by about 14 times to more than 7,000,000,000 tons/year. The earth has no capacity to re-absorb this amount of carbon and might collapse, if we continue in the same way!

This blog is dedicated to collect some interesting news and developments on biofuels, bioenergies, biomaterials and biological treatments of residuals and wastes, as well as my personal opinions in this field.
I do support renewable energies. However,I believe human activities is not the main factor that contributes to carbon emissions. The Icelandic volcano this year had emitted million tons of carbon dioxide, and there are several volcanic activities happening around the world each year.
